PersonalheroismfilmsinAmericanfilmshavebeentheenduringtheme,theheroicimagesshapedonthescreenisalsosolovedbythepublicbecauseofitsdistinctivepersonality,characteristicofmanynoblesentiments,extraordinaryskillsandextraordinaryexploits,theseheroicdemeanors,clothingandequipmentmovingstoryhavebecomeasymbolofanera,influencinggenerationsofthegrowth.Eventhecreativewriterswhocreatedshapedtheseheroeshavebeenpopularandknown.Asweallknow,thefilmasapartofAmericanculture,itthroughtheAmericanmainstreamvalues,reflectingtheideologyofAmericansocietyheroes,etc,itisnotonlyanimportantpartofAmericanculture,butalsothemainwayofAmericanculturetodointernalcommunicationandforeignpenetration.BytheanalysisofthoseindividualswhosummarizedtheheroicimageoftheUnitedStatesonthescreen,wecanseemanytypesofheroeswhichbothhavetheessentialcharacteristicsofNativeAmericanheroarchetype,onbasisofwhichitsevolutedintodifferentheroparadigms,andwiththedevelopmentofthetimesandsocialawarenessprogress,allkindsofheroicqualitiesandparadigmsareevolvingdayandday.

Whatisheroism?

Accordingtothedictionaryexplained,whenagreatcareerofthewholenationandthegreateffortstoachievethispositivecausecontradictionsandovercomeobstacleswerebecamenecessarycharactertraitsofindividuals,whomanifestedinthetenaciousbraveryandself-sacrificethroughouttheeventandreflectedinthebehaviorofindividuals,leavingthebehaviorofgreatsignificance,thentheheroismemerged.IntheHollywoodmovie,amanheroismhaveaverygoodinterpretation.Aherowhoemphasizedtwopointsmeanings:

amanandahero.Theprotagonistofthemovie,whetherheiscivilianorpresident,arealoner;nomatterwhatcapacitytheprotagonistinthefilm,hemusthaveextraordinarywisdom,courage,andablilitytoplay,whoarechargedwithavarietyofskills,nomatterwhatthecircumstancesheisabletodefusethecrisisandtobesuccessful.

ComparedwithChina,thefoundingoftheUnitedStatesundergosaveryshorttime,itseemstoshowmorerespectforpersonalheroes.FromtheearliestSupermantothepostofBatmanandSpiderman....therearemanyheroescreatedonthedestructionofEarth,thegreatdisastermoviesarealwayssavedbywittyandbraveheroesinthelastday.Thisvideowilloftencauseoursoul-stirring,andbedeeplylinkedtoinvoluntaryheroicstory,wehavebeensympatheticwiththoseheroes.Thisshowsthatourheartisactuallyrecognizedindividualheroism,atleastwearenotaversetosuchvalues.SowhysuchvaluesreflectedonlyinAmericanmoviessovividly?

WeseemtoreturntotheUnitedStatestoexploretheculturalhistory.AllknowthatthefirstgenerationofAmericansareimmigrantsfromEurope,whentheylandedthisunknownterritory,theyknowthatisthemselvesareinanabsolutedisadvantage.Indiansaroundthemareobstructedagainstthem,theyhasnotsuitedtotheenvironment,andhasnotovercomenaturaldisasters.Everythingisnotsmooth,youwanttosurvivehere,individualsalonecannotbecompleted.Sointhenormalsense,theUnitedStatescultureshouldbemoreembodiedtheessenceofcollectivism?

SothatwehavetotracetheoriginoftheestablishmentoftheUnitedStates.independentcoloniesarethebaseoftheestablishmentoftheUnitedStates.Inthe17thcentury,therehasbeenawaveofimmigration,whichisabouttwohundredyearsafterColumbusdiscoveringtheAmericancontinent.WhydosomanypeopleimmigratetoAmerica?

WearenecessarytoknowthattimewhenEuropeannavigatorsarestillimmature,Ibelieveitisprobablynevertoreturn.Historiansbelievethatthereareeconomicmotives,religiousandpoliticalintention,wearenotdiscussingtheseslightfactorsinthisregard,aslongasweputthemtogether,infact,theyareforfree.Whetheritispoliticalpersecution,Puritanreligiousmarginalizationorthepeoplewhojustcannotcontinuetoliveinpoverty,whichinfactwemovetowardsanewworldofadventure,thefaithoftheirheartsistobeabletoliveabetterlifemorefreely,nooppression,nothenrestrain.AmongtheUnitedStatesestablishedinthemanyimmigrantswihchhavesuchideologie,itcanbeimaginedthatindividualfreedomisthefirstone,whichiswhytheUnitedStateshasalwaysstressedthathumanrightsisgreaterthansovereignty.Andwedonotdiscussthisargumentofisrightornot,atleastitreflectsthegoodintentions,whichisthefreeandcomprehensivedevelopmentofman.IntheUnitedStates,theindividualisacoreunitofthisideaundertheform,everyonehastheirownresponsibilities,rightsandthisisreflectedinAmericanfilmshead.

Sincethattheindividualisthecoreandthesubject,soitisnothardtounderstandwhyAmericanmoviecalledaloneheroessomuch!

Ofcourse,justsaidinfrontofindividualism,itcannotbeconsideredatrulypersonalheroism.So,Americanheroismcomefrom?
