  Goodmorning,LadiesandGentlemen,It’smygreathonortobeheretohaveatalkwithyou.TodayIwilltalksomethingabouthowtomakeourclassactiveandinteractive.

  Threeyearsago,whenIsteppedtoschooltobeanEnglishteacher,Itriedmybesttomakeallthestudentspracticethepatternsinmanyways,AndIhopethattheywouldgethighmarksinallthetests.However,theydidn'

tcareaboutit,andtheywerenotinterestedinmyclassatall.

  Untiloneday,aboyhadatalkwithme.Hesaid“I’mlearningmanythingsthatareboringanduseless.SoI’mtiredofstudying.”Atthattime,Irealizedmyclasswaslackofactiveandinteractivepatterns.AndIknewitwastimetochangeourclass.

  Inordertomakethestudentsconcentrateonourclass,wemustchangetheoldwaysweusedbefore.

  Firstly,weshouldbeactiveandenergetic.Becauseourpassioncanmakestudentswanttolearn.Andintheclasswecanusemanysimplewordssuchas“good,excellentandwelldone”,becausethesesimplewordsnotonlymakethemactiveinclass,butalsofostertheirsenseofachievementinlearning.

  Secondly,weshouldmakeourclasscreativeandmeaningful.Wecanorganizegamesoractivities.Asyouknow,activityisthekeypartofclass.Andwecanusesimplesentencesandbodylanguagetocommunicatewithstudents.Weshouldgivethemclearpurposeandofferthemopportunitiestopractice,tocreateandatthesametimeallowthemtofail.

  TheThirdpartismakingthestudentsfeelcomfortablewithaskingandansweringquestions.Inordertodothis,pleasedonotcriticizeanyquestionsfromstudents.Thiswillinsurethattheycancontinuetoaskquestions.Dogiveourstudentsmorechancetoaskandanswer.Thenafterclasstheywilllisten,read,write,anduseEnglishwithinterestsandhappiness.
