1）否定句

1）疑问句

3、but 但是表示转折，一般用于否定句。

Helikesthepianobutdoesn’tliketheviolin.他喜欢钢琴，但不喜欢小提琴。

4、so所以表示结果。

（注意：

so不能和because并列使用）

Thecatwashungry,soIgaveitsomefood.猫饿了，所以我给了它一些食物。

Becausethecatwashungry，Igaveitsomefood.因为猫饿了，我给他一些事物。

5、both…and…和；

既……也……

BothBeijingandNewYorkhavetrafficproblems.北京和纽约都有交通问题。

6、either…or…或……或……不是……就是……

Eitheryouorheisright.不是你就是他是对的。

7、neither…nor…既不……也不……

NeitherhenorIspeakaforeignlanguage.他和我都不会说外语。

三、从属连词的分类及用法

1、that引导宾语从句（可以省略）

Hesays（that）hehastoldherthething.他说他已经告诉了她这件事了。

2、when（当……的时候）引导时间状语从句

WhenIarrivedthere，itwasraining.当我到那儿时，天正在下雨。

3、till/until“直到……”引导时间状语从句

Hestayedtheretill/untilhismothercameback.他一直待在那里直到他妈妈回来。

4、after/before“在……之前”/“在……之后”引导时间状语从句（两者可以相互转化）

HecametoChinaafterthewarwasover.他来到中国在战争结束之后。

ThewarwasoverbeforehecametoChina.战争已经结束了在他来到中国之前。

5、because“因为”引导原因状语从句

Shedidn’tgothere,becauseshewasill.因为她病了，所以没有去那里。

6、if“如果”引导条件状语从句

Ifanyonecalls，tellthemIamnotathome.如果有人打电话来，就说我不在家。

四、易错考点

1、如连接三个或三个以上的单词和词组，and一般放在最后一个单词或词组。

Tom，JimandIareplayingfootballnow.汤姆，吉姆和我现在正在踢足球。

Thereisaapple，threepearsandsomegrapesontheplate.（there或here后跟谓语动词用单数还是复数看最靠近there/here的名词是不可数、单数还是复数。

）

2、由both…and…构成的词组作主语时，谓语动词要用复数。

BothTomandIaregoodatEnglish.

3、either…or…和neither…or…构成的词组作主语时，谓语动词随其邻近的词。

即随or后面的主语而定。

如：

EitheryouandIamright.不是你就是我是对的。

Neitheryounorheisright.你和他都不对。

4、though（虽然）与but（但是）不能连用

Thoughhewastired，hestillworkedhard.

Hewastired，buthestillworkedhard.
