1.教材分析

本单元以“Personaltraits”为话题，谈论人物的体貌特点及性格特征。

这个话题非常接近学生的生活实际，学生会非常乐于谈论身边的人或朋友，因而极有利于他们开口发言，提高他们的英语口语表达能力。

通过这个单元的学习，学生要学会对人物进行比较，正确使用形容词的比较级对人物进行描述。

SectionA第一部分围绕三对双胞胎的体貌特点进行比较，展开词汇（1a），听力（1b），会话（1c）训练。

1a学习关键词汇，1b练习听目标语言，1c为简单口语训练，巩固目标语言。

第二部分围绕记者对其中一对双胞胎Tina和Tara的采访，继续进行听力（2a-2b）训练和会话（2c）训练，提高听与说的技能，并系统掌握形容词的比较级；
