但目前,我国中学生的总体口语水平并不乐观,急需提高。

为了解决这个问题,我对所教班级的100名学生的口语状况进行问卷调查并且学习了一些有关英语口语教学书籍。

在此基础之上,这篇论文首先将分析当今学生英语口语水平不高的原因:

如归英语口语的忠实程度不够、学生的心里障碍、学生的基本功较差、教师的传统单一教法一级英语语言环境的缺乏等。

另外,本篇论文还将探讨一下教师在培养学生的兴趣、加强学生英语口语基本功、创设英语语言环境、组织丰富多彩的教学活动、听说训练结合等方面可以采取的一些方法和策略,以便更有效的提高学生的英语口语水平。

Abstract

Inmoderneducation,oralEnglishteachingisbecomingmoreandmoreimportant.ThepeoplewithsolidprofessionalknowledgeandexcellentEnglishabilityarebadlyneededforthedevelopmentofourcountry.Butatpresent,thestudents’oralEnglishstandardisunsatisfactory.Inordertosolvethisproblem,Isurveyed100students’conditionabouttheiroralEnglishinourschool(No.18MiddleSchoolinthecityofQinhuangdao),andstudiedsomebooksaboutoralEnglishteaching.Accordingtothese,thisessaywillfirstlyanalyzethecausesofthestudents’difficultyinspeakingEnglish,forexample:

notenoughattentionhasbeenpaidtooralEnglishthestudents’psychologicalbarriers:

thepoorbasicskillsofthestudents’oralEnglishthetraditionalteachingmethodsoforalEnglishandshortofopportunitiestopracticeoralEnglishinChina.Inordertoimprovethestudent’oralabilitymoreeffectively,Isuggestthatteacherscanadoptsometacticssuchasimprovinginterest:

Conclusion:

Theinformationtechnologyandeconomyhavebeendevelopingrapidlysincethe21stcentury.Theinternationalcooperationandcommunicationarebecomingmoreandmorefrequent.SoEnglishisbecomingmoreandmoreimportantinourinformationera.ThepeoplewithsolidprofessionalknowledgeandexcellentEnglishabilityarenecessaryofthedevelopmentofourcountry.“MuteEnglish”mustbecomehistory.Teachersmustmakemoreeffortsonimprovingthelevelofthestudents’oralEnglish.Butactually,manystudentsfinditdifficulttospeakEnglishThepresentsituationofthestudents’oralEnglishlevelisunsatisfactoryandshouldbeimmediatelyimproved.Inconsiderationofthis,thisessaywillinquireintosomecausesofthestudents’difficultyinspeakingEnglishandsometacticsabouthowtoimprovethestudents’oralability.
