OnemorningjustbeforeourChineselesson,weweretoldourChineseteacher,MissLiu,hadhadanaccident.Oneofherlegswasbadlyinjuredandshecouldn’tcometoteachus.Whilewewereplanningtovisitherafterschool,wealsothoughtthatmaybewewouldbefreetodowhateverwewantedduringourChineselesson,andhopedourhomeworkloadwouldbereduced.Buttooursurprise,shortlyafterthebell,MissLiu,withthehelpofastick,cametothedoorofourclassroom.Withgreatrespectwallstoodupandgreetedher.

Shesatonachairandbeganherlesson.Shespokeslowlybutforcefully.Shepreparedherlecturequitewellanddemandedthatwedothesame.Towardstheendofthelesson,wegotlotsofhomeworkfromher.

Wecanseeinthepicture,Whenachildislearningtorideabicycle,theparentandthegrandparentaresweatingfromrunningalongsidethebikeandaretryingtheirbesttoprotectthechildforfearthattheyshouldfallandhurtthemselves.
