Frequencyislowest,frequencyrange:

approximately1KHZto20KHZ,typicallyaround8KHZ.Heatdepth,thicknessabout3-10mm.Forlargerworkpiecemore,largediametershaft,largediameterthickwallpipe,bigmodulusgearartifactssuchasheating,annealing,quenchingandtempering,conditioningandsurfacesmallerdiameterofrodredblunt,calcinedpressure,etc.

generally20KHZto40KHZ(sinceaudiofrequencyis20HZto20KHZ,socallitsuperaudio).Heatdepth,thickness,about2to3mm.Moreusedinmediumdiameterworkpiecedeepheating,annealing,tempering,conditioning,heating,largediameterthin-walledtubesheatwelding,assembly,medium,suchasthegearquenching.
4)highfrequencyinductionheating
usually40KHZto200KHZ,usually40KHZto80KHZ.Heatdepth,thickness,aboutl-2mm.Moredeepheatingforsmallartifacts,red,burntpressure,annealing,tempering,thetempering,surfacequenching,mediumofthediameterofthepipeheatandheatwelding,assembly,smallgearquenching,etc.
Frequencyisrelativelyhighest,frequencyrange:
general200KHZabove,canbeuptoadozenMHZ.Theheatingdepthandtheminimumthicknessareapproximately0.1to1mm.Itisusedtoquench,weld,surfacequenchofsmallpiecesofsmallparts.
Themainadvantagesanddisadvantagesofinductionheating:
1)thereisnoneedtoheatthewholething,butitcanbeheatedselectively,sotheworkpieceislessdeformedandthepowerconsumptionisless.
2)theheatisfast,thesurfaceoxidationanddecarburizationoftheworkpiecearelight,andmostoftheworkisnotrequiredforgasprotection.
Accordingtotheneedtoadjusttheworkingfrequencyandpoweroftheequipment,thesurfacehardeninglayeriscontrolled.Thehardness,strengthandtoughnessofthemartensitictissueofthehardenedlayerarehigh.
