Cooperativelearningisawidelyacceptedlearningmethod,whichhasbeenfirstmentionedintheearly18thcentury.Cooperativelearninghasabroadtheoreticalandpracticalbasis.ThewesterncooperativelearningtheoryhasbeenintroducedintoChinasincethebeginningofthe20thcenturyandhasbeentriedandstudiedinsomeschools.Incommunicativeactivities,students'
abilitytouselanguageandcooperatewithothersarecultivated.OrganizingcooperativelearninginEnglishclassroomcanimprovestudents'
cooperativespirit,competitiveconsciousnessandcollectivehonor.
ThisthesisexpoundstheapplicationandprocessofcooperativelearninginjuniormiddleschoolEnglishclassroom.Inaddition,italsodiscussesthemainproblemsofcooperativelearninginjuniormiddleschoolEnglishclasses.Forexample,first,thegroupingisnotreasonableenough.Second,thedivisionoflaboramonggroupcooperativelearningmembersisunclear.Third,bothteachersandstudentslackcooperativelearningskills.Forth,teachersfocusmoreonresultsthanonprocess.
Inadditiontotheabovequestions,thispaperalsoexploressomeexperimentalstudiesoncooperativelearning,thepurposeofwhichiswhethercooperativelearningcanenhancestudents'
interestandpassioninlearningEnglish.Someexperimentalmethodsareused.Suchas,questionnairesurvey,interviewandclassroomobservation.Attheendofthethesis,somesuggestionsaregiventoteachers,hopingthatteacherscancorrectlytreattheapplicationofcooperativelearninginjuniormiddleschoolEnglishclasses.
