Asasenior,myfutureisalwaysonmymind.Tobeexact,thoughtsofthefuturehavekeptmeupcountlessnightsandmademeworryenoughtodopoorlyonmorethanonetest.Becauseofthis,wordsofwisdomareasourceofcomfort.SteveJobsgaveaspeechtoStanford’sgraduatingclassin2005andhiswordsresoundrepeatedlyinmymindwheneverIthinkaboutmyfuture.
Itwasn’talwayslikethat,though.ItstartedwhenIbecameajunior,whencollegecameintoview.It’sthefirstbigsteptomakingyourlifeyourown.SowhenJobsdiscussedhislifeasastudent,somefearswereeased.He,too,felttheneedtoattendcollegetomakesomethingofhimself.Hefacedwhatmanyareextremelyafraidof:
uncertainty.Hislackofunderstandingcausedhimtostopattendingcollegeandfocusonwhathefeltwasimportant.Hisstoryhadahappyending,ofcourse,sincehecertainlyturnedoutwell.
Thisdoesn’tmeanthatstudentsshouldn’tattendcollege,butratherthattheyshouldn’tworrysomuch.You’llgetwhereyouneedtogo,evenifyourpathisabitmorewinding（蜿蜒的）thanyou’dlike.
Jobstalkedaboutthehardshipsinhiswork.Hisloveofhisworkhelpedhimcarryonandhegotwherehewasmeanttobe,whichrestatesthepoint:
