野生东北虎在我国不足500只、而非洲象仅有约47至69万只、长江江豚不到1500头、而东部美洲狮已经灭绝、白令海牛也已经灭绝、也使生物圈和食物链遭到严重破坏，这都是人类在地球上一一所犯下的罪行，我们要保护这些美丽的生灵、保护生物圈、保护食物链。

　　为了保护动物;国家在各个地区建立动物园;除此之外，在一些地区还建立自然保护区和自然风景区;另外还在各省各地区设有省级林业局和市级林业局;还有在森林设有森林派出所;国家在动物界设有国家几级动物的级别;国家还分别颁布和颁发了保护动物的法律和文件。
