1.CrossingtheRivertoSchool

cross是动词，“穿越，越过”，主要指“横穿”。

还可以作名词，意为“十字形，叉形符号”。

across既可以作介词，也可以作副词。

crossing是名词，“渡口，交叉点”。

Itis+adj.+todosth.“做某事是.......”

between...and...  “在....和...之间”，连接两个并列的成分。

between/among

（1）between用于两者之间。
