Onestudentinparticular,AlvinRizqiAdrian,impressedXieagreatdeal.“Atthattime,hewasamiddleschoolstudent.HewassointerestedinChinesethatheworkedveryhardtolearnandpractice,”shesaid.Since2004,Guangdonghassent1,000Chineseteacherstomorethan30Chineseschoolsin10countriesandregions.
