Thebrothersworkedthroughthewinterof1894.TheyrecognizedtwomainproblemswithEdison’sinvention:

theKinetographwasalargepieceofmachinery,whichresignedittotheworkroom;theviewer（底片看片器）meantthatonlyonepersoncouldexperiencethefilmsatatime.Withinayear,theCinematographewasborn.Itwasmuchsmallerandcouldbeviewedbylargeraudiences.
