Infact,scientistshadbeenthinkingforalongtimethatAfricancichlidsmighthaveagoodmemory.Anearlierstudyshowedthattheybehavedaggressivelyinfrontofcertainfish,perhapsbecausetheyrememberedtheirpast“fights”.Butuntilthelatestfindings,therewasnoclearevidence.
