AtthebeginningofWorldWarII,JacquelinetrainedwomeninEnglandaspilots.ShelatercamebacktotheUnitedStatesandtrainedAmericanwomen,too.In1945,.shereceivedtheDistinguishedServiceMedal,oneofAmerica'shighesthonors(荣誉).
