VincentWillemvanGogh(30March,1853---29July,1890)wasaDutchPost-Impressionistartist.Heisconsideredoneofthegreatestartistswithgreatinfluenceonthegreatestartistswithgreatinfluenceonthe20th-centuryart.

In1890,attheageof37,vanGoghshothimselfinthechest.Hediedtwodayslater,withTheo,hisbrotherandhisbestfriend,athisside,whoreportedhislastwordsas“Thesadnesswilllastforever”.Itwouldnottakelongbeforehisfamegrewhigherandhigher.
