　　①不可翻译成welcomeDr.andMrs.HilltoShanghai.

　　②在称呼一对夫妇时，应用如上表达法，还有如：

欢迎布什总统夫妇来访上海WelcometoShanghai,PresidentandMrs.Bush.

　　③在翻译中英、中美、中加等时，应用Sino--表示中国的

　　但在翻译美中、加中、英中时，不能说US—Sino

　　而应该说US—Chinese.

　　④关于汉语里“副”的翻译：

汉语里表示副职的头街一般都冠以“副”字，英译时需视词语的固定搭配表达习惯等情况，可选择用

　　vice,deputy,associate,assistant等词，相对而言，vice的使用面较广。

例：

副总统vicepresident

　　副省长vicegovernor副市长vicemayor

　　一般学术头街的“副”职称往往用不同的词来表达，最为常用的英语词是associate.例：

副教授associateprofessor

　　副研究员associateresearchfellow副主任医师associateseniordoctor

　　以director表示的职位的副职常以deputydirector表示，此外，secretary,mayor,dean等头街的副职也可以用deputy来表示。

副秘书长deputysecretary-general副院长deputydean

　　学术头街系列除了含“正”，“副”级别的高级职称和中级职称外，还有初级职称如“助理”，常用assistant表示。
