  withrenderingsoftheirfutureselvesmadeusingage-progressionalgorithms

  (算法)thatforecasthowphysicalappearanceswouldchangeovertime.Onegroupof

  participantssawadigitalrepresentationoftheircurrentselvesinavirtual

  mirror,andtheothergroupsawanage-morphedversionoftheirfutureselves.

  Thoseparticipantswhosawtheage-morphedversionoftheirfutureselves

  allocatedmoremoneytowardahypotheticalsavingsaccount.Theintervention

  broughtpeople'sfuturetothepresentandasaresulttheysavedmoreforthe

  future.
