MagneticSensorSelection
Thefollowinginformationissuppliedforassistanceinselectingthepropersensorsforyour
particularapplications.Oneofthefundamentalquestionstobeansweredis,“Willtherebeenoughsensoroutputvoltageatthelowestoperatingspeed?
”Thesensoroutputvoltagedependson:
•SurfaceSpeed-speedtargetpassespolepiece•Gap-distancebetweentargetandpolepiece
Theloadimpedance,withrelationtotheinternalimpedanceofthesensor,dictatestheamountofsensoroutputvoltagethatwillbeseenbythatload.Magneticsensorsaredesignedwiththe

Mostoftheoutputvoltageslistedinthiscatalogarebasedonaloadimpedanceof100kohms.Touseagenerality,theloadimpedanceshouldbe10timesthatofthesensor.
