11、ing these years see sb. do sth. 看见某人做某事，do前面省略不定式to see sb. doing sth. 看见某人正在做某事 pretty strange names 相当奇怪的名字pretty，副词，意思是“相当，十分”语法：关系代词who, whom, that, which引导的定语从句（一）构成：在句子中，跟在名词或代词后面充当该名词或代词修饰语的从句叫做定语从句，被修饰的名词或代词叫先行词。定语从句由关系代词或关系副词引导。that/which/who/whom/whose/when/where/why 作为引导词本身词义淡化。（二）用法：I. 关

12、系代词who/whom/whose/that/which引导的定语从句。关系代词在句子中所能作的成份，列表说明。关系代词例句that在句中作主语或宾语（作宾语可省略）指物A plane is a machine that can fly.（主语）The noodles（that）I cooked were nice.（宾语）指人Who is the man that is reading over there?（主语）The girl（that）we saw yesterday is Jims sister.（宾语）which在从句中作主语或宾语指物The silk which is prod
