And the game teaching is one of the most effective methods, which is used by more and more teachers to improve the English teaching level. Students greatly welcome games, naturally speaking. Games are considered one of the most effective ways to improve efficiency in language learning.With the integration and glob

Meanwhile, 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing is another booster of learning English. As English becomes more and more accepted as an int

Among the many teaching approaches, game teaching is the most effective means to stimulate students learning interest and improve the quality of English teaching. 22、l English education. Games in TeachingThe definition of Games Hadfield Jill (1984) gave the definition to games as an activity with rules, a goal and an element of fun. Similarly Spooked Bernard& Search Olivia (1994:271) defined that: games a different kind of play activity. They are highly structur
23、ed and include specific rules to be followed.The Dutch scholar Hu Iraq points out in his book People: player that the game should have following basic characteristics: 1. The voluntary and freedom characteristic of the game, that is to say the game is a free activity.2. The virtual and the utilitari
24、an characteristics of the game, namely the game is not daily or real life. 3. The closeness feature of the game, namely speaking during game activity, people will temporarily depart themselves with other game players. Games are different from activities. They are highly structured and include specif
