1、Bible Study NotesINTRODUCTIONThe Bible forms one continuous storyThe revelation of God to man and the relationship of man to God. Gods divine plan and purpose runs like a Crimson Highway from Genesis to Revelation. The purpose of this study is to link together the important events, which reveals the

2、 gradual development and final triumph of the divine purpose throughout the ages.It is not an analytical study of theology with all of it profound depths, but rather a “Birds Eye Views”. We will visualize it in the minds eye. (Eye- gate) by a Time Line.Read from the introduction Px1 on approaching B

3、ible Study.“ The main reason for not understanding the message of Scripture lies in the failure to see its overall plan and purpose. The plan of the Bible can be compared to a mosaic. (Mosaic: a surface decoration made by inlaying small pieces of variously colored material to form pictures of patter

4、ns.) Each word, chapter and book form components that are necessary, yet incomplete in themselves. They can never be viewed in isolation, just as a mosaic is only meaningful as a unified whole. To profit from the Bible the reader must be able to work with the individual parts as well as the overall

5、themes and purposes.” There are many possible ways to divide this revelation into time periods.1. Already divided into O.T and N.T2. Divide history- everything before the cross and everything after.3. History, which act as pivotal Points Flood, Exodus, Babylonian Captivity, Crucifixion, Destruction

6、of Jerusalem.4. Divisions base on Covenants, Edenic, Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Davidic, and The New Covenant.5. (4) Explanation The Epistles (Epistles furnish us with interpretation and explanation of that life, Ministry, death and Resurrection. (5) Consummation Revelation (Revelation portrays the ultimate glory of Gods purposes in

8、 Christ in and beyond human history on earth.D.L. Moody puts it this way: The Bible sets forth two things: THE CROSS and THE THRONE.The Old Testament points toward the cross. The Gospels tell the story of the cross.The Epistles point toward the throne.The Revelation tells us the story of the throne.

9、The Old Testament tells us what sin leads to and end with the words, “Lest I come and Smite the Earth with a curse” Mal. 4:6The New Testament shows us the way out of Sin, and ends thus: “The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you all” Rev. 22:21DISPENSATIONSDispensation: A period of time during which m

20、created” No argument is entered into to prove the existence of God, Instead His existences is declared as a fact to believe.It also tells us that He was Himself before the beginning and therefore eternal.(a dateless- endless time in the eternal past.The scriptures gives us no data for determining ho

21、w long ago the universe was created. What God wanted us to know is record in His word. Four thing that is repeated on each day of creation:1. Creative Word 2. Report of its effect3. 26、ONS. Here in Genesis chapter 1:26 the Hebrew Word Elohim is used for God, It is the Plural word for God. (Gen. 1:1 also) But is singular in meaning when it refers to the true God. Emphasis in Gen. 1:26 is on the plurality in Deity.The doctrine of the Trinity must not imply in any way that there are
