5、生浓厚兴趣，有一定研究成果。也许是受那个已经逝去的红色苏联和属于它的红色文化影响，革命英雄主义和勇于牺牲、助人为乐、无私奉献的精神元素一直流淌在我的血液中。在工作和生活中，有些人都觉得我有几份怪：一怪，八年如一日只着警服；二怪，十二年如一日献血不断；三怪，执勤太“刻板”。而我也确实如此。但领导和同志们却一致公认：我是个好民警、好青年，工作堪称“样板”。我所值勤的公司物料场是公司环境最为艰苦的岗哨，公司花巨资从世界各地采购的精矿原料在这里堆积如山，价值高昂，它们经过冶炼后将变成镍、铜和稀贵金属，成为上天、入地、下海的、必不可少的材料。这里无风一身土、风来一身料，在这儿工作的民警，身上都有一股洗也

6、洗不去的 “物料味”，看护这些宝贵物料就是我的工作。我曾是公司第三冶炼厂的一位护厂队员，后来转为经济民警，所以对经济民警这个岗位有着一种深沉的挚爱，深感责任重大，对庄严的警服、警徽有着一种特殊的感情。有人认为我的性格中有着一种为常人所不理解、甚至难以接受的近乎执著的执拗。举个例子说，我很“倔”，倔到什么份上，分局关于执勤岗哨的文件精神传达到我这儿，我绝对会原模原样、一字不动的执行到底。物料场担负着公司外购原料的运卸、中转任务，公司许多二级单位领导和各级管理人员经常前来，工作中交道打多了，大家都熟得不能再熟，但只要他们有一次没携带齐全相关手续，我就准定将我们“拒”之门外，任你怎么解释、说情都没用
