8、components shall normally conform to the requirements of GB, HG standard etc. When materials are not covered by the local standards, equivalent ASME, ASTM, API, MSS, BS or manufacturers standard may be used. 2.1.2 All carbon and low temperature carbon steel grades of pipe material shall have a maxim
9、um carbon content of 0.25% and a maximum carbon equivalent of 0.45 based on the following formula: 2.1.3 All carbon steel shall be supplied with killed steel. The use of rimming steel is not permitted. All carbon steel material shall be supplied in normalized finish condition. An alternative heat tr
10、eated condition shall be submitted to Purchaser for approval2.1.4 All austenitic stainless steel shall be supplied in a solution annealed condition. No welding or working of the material is permitted after this treatment in the shop. All welds made to stainless steel components shall be pickled and
11、passivated.2.1.5 Galvanizing pipe when specified shall be hot dipped. The minimum weight of average coating shall be according to GB/T 3091.2.2 Asbestos Asbestos shall not be used in the plant in any form.3.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS3.1 General As a rule, the principal dimensions of piping components, w

However, in cases where the use of these sizes cannot be avoided, the required piping material, fittings, flanges, valves and gaskets shall be the same material as next larg

15、ed in accordance with vendors standard.3.3.2 Any exposed (unpainted) carbon steel parts / surfaces shall be given a heavy coating. Internal metal surfaces shall be sprayed or coated with similar suitable rust preventative.3,3,3 Valve ends shall be suitably protected against damage and the ingress of
16、 foreign matter. Ends shall be protected as below:a) Socketweld and plain ends shall be closed with metal or plastic protectors that fit either inside or outside the valve ends.b) Threaded ends shall be fitted with plastic plugs / capsc) Flanged ends shall be protected by plastic (preferred), or woo
17、d covers, securely held in place by a minimum of four bolts / inserts. Gasket contact surfaces shall be protected to ensure serrations are not damaged in transit or storage. 3.3.4 All valves shall be marked / tagged with (as a minimum) the project tag and/or code number in additional to information
18、required by the applicable design standard. Full marking requirements will be stated within the enquiry.3.3.5 All valves except gate valve having a preferred direction of flow shall be marked with an arrow cast on the valve body.3.3.6 End and bonnet flanges shall be cast or forged integrally with th
19、e valve body. In case of conversion of butt weld end valves to flange by welding on flanges is acceptable only with addition heat treatment (if required) and 100%RT and subject to PURCHASER prior review and approval.3.3.7 Valves specified as needing to be fire safe shall have been tested and certifi
20、ed as having met the requirements of API 607. This Fire Safe requirement shall be applicable to soft seated valves only.3.3.8 Vendor shall not modify an existing valve to bring into conformance with data sheet requirements without written approval of the Purchaser. Examples of modifications are as f
21、ollows:(a) Addition of extended bonnet (gas column) to a standard valve.(b) Inserting resilient seats.(c) Revising trim.(d) Modifying flanged end valves to buttweld end (machining off flanges).(e) Changing bolting and / or packing.(f) Weld repair to castings and any subsequent heat treatment.(g) Mod
22、ifying a buttweld end valve to threaded or socketweld ends.(h) Modifying a threaded end valve to socketweld ends.3.3.9 Unless specified otherwise, all austenitic stainless steel materials shall be furnished in a solution annealed condition. Approved repairs, if any, shall be made prior to solution a
23、nnealing.3.3.10 Metallic and non-metallic bonnet and cover gaskets shall have corrosion resistance equal (or better) than that of the body and bonnet materials.3.3.11 Any optional backseat, low pressure closure or high pressure closure test shall be clearly identified on the valve data sheet (with r
24、elevant test pressure / temperature). Vendor shall include all additional costs for these tests.3.3.12 All pressure testing of austenitic stainless steel valves shall be carried out with water having a maximum of 65 ppm chloride content.3.3.13 Each wrench operated ball valves shall be furnished with
