14、的动作（即：非持续性动作）。如：I had a word with Julia this morning.（今天早晨，我跟朱丽亚说了几句话）。注：带有确定的过去时间状语时，要用过去时。一般过去时常与表示过去的时间状语或从句连用，如： last week（上星期）, in 1993, at that time（在那时）, once曾经）, several days ago （几天前）、yesterday（昨天）、two days ago（两天前 ）、last year（去年）、the other day（前几天）、once up on a time（过去曾经）、 just now（刚才）、in

He smoked many cigarettes a day until he gave up. 他没有戒烟的那阵子，抽烟抽得可凶了。2. 由because引导的从句。Because用来引导原因状语从句。例如： I was quite curious because I didnt know what he was going to do.The woolly shrank because it was washed badly. 毛衣因洗得不得法而缩水。注：because习惯上不与so连用汉语习惯上说“因为所以”，但英语习惯上却不能将 so与because 连用

17、：因为下雨，所以我们呆在家里。正：Because it was raining, we stayed at home. / It was raining, so we stayed at home.误：Because it was raining, so we stayed at home. 比较：because, since, as和for 1）because语势最强，用来说明人所不知的原因，回答why提出的问题。当原因是显而易见的或已为人们所知，就用as或 since。I didnt go, because I was afraid.Since /As the weather is so

18、bad, we have to delay our journey.2）由because引导的从句如果放在句末，且前面有逗 号，则可以用for来代替。但如果不是说明直接原因，而是多种情况加以推断，就只能用for。He is absent today, because / for he is ill.He must be ill, for he is absent today.3. be going to 的用法。 be going to +动词原形地点，表示将来。如： I thought he was going to go camping, and I went with him. 19、换)a. 主语的意图，即将做某事。What are you going to do tomorrow?b. 计划，安排要发生的事。The play is going to be produced next month。c. 有迹象要发生的事Look at the dark clouds, there is going to be a storm. . 被动语态： 被动语态表示主语是动作的受动者。 被动语态通常是由助动词be和-ed分词构成的。 如： askbeasked； makebemade Ex. This party was held on campus three days ago.（

20、时态|主语替换）5 过去进行时：1 过去进行时的谓语动词构成：I/he/she/itwas working；we/you/theywere working2 过去进行时的用法： 表示过去某一时刻或过去某段时间内正在进行的动作，一般要有表示过去时间的状语。如：Itwasrainingat6oclockthismorning. （今天早上六点钟天正下着雨。）；I was sleeping that day.（那天我正在睡觉） 注：常用的时间状语： at8oclockyesterdaymorning昨天早上8点， atthistimelastyear去年的这个时候， .whenIphonedyouy
