11、 and movements. With the understanding of my expressions signals and movements, they grasp the meanings of the English sentences and have a joyful feeling. And then they practice the sentences on their own or have the aspiration to learn from each other by exchanging views.In English teaching, I pay

12、 attention to connecting English words, sentences with the substances in the reality that is objects teaching (pictures, school things, some toys, tape-recording and so on). I teach the pupils in English. On one hand this way can practice the pupils listening and on the other hand it can help them b

13、uild up the direct connection between the English words and the objects. So they will be interested in learning oral English. Consequently they can learn English well. It is well known that words study cant leave drills. In another words, we teach new words during practice, so words cant separate fr

14、om sentences, the language teaching becomes an entirely. Pupils understand the sentences with teachers hints. As the same time, they understand the meanings of the words. For example there are two words “mum” and “dad”. First I put a picture on the blackboard and ask some questions:“What color is mu

15、m dress ? What color are dads shoes?” Pupils can directly perceive through the sixth sense and grasp the words one by one, family let the pupils make some sentences with the new words. In English teaching grasping the sentence structure is very important and it is difficult for pupils to understand.

16、 So we must create some scene or use the old knowledge to help them learn it. For example, according to the important sentences of this lesson “What color is.? What colors are.?” And the answer “Its .Theyre .” Practice them several times firstly. After that we replaced these sentences with some new

17、words : red, white, blue, etc to acquire a better understanding with the special question“ What color is ”To begin class , I let the pupils practice oral English with color pencils , first , they practiced simple sentence and the practiced phrasal sentences . Such as “What color is the pen? Its gree

18、n .What color are these pens? Theyre yellow.” I corrected the mistake of pronunciation and writing. Step by step, the pupils are interested English. So they have a good foundation before the new lesson. Through this they can master a good method to learn English.3.1 Set up pupils confidence to arous

19、e their learning interest Most poor students wish to be better at study, though they are so weak in their subjects. Teachers should pay more attention to them and not forget to praise them even if they make a little progress. Make sue that they can feel they are getting better and better. For exampl

20、e, I ask the good students not to answer questions in class but to help their partners to do that. The poor students are eager to answer questions with their desk mates help. If they are right, we should say “very good”, “you are very clever” to them. If they are wrong, we should say “Never mind, I

21、believe you can do better next time”. The poor students will build up strong confidence in learning English.3.2 Establish a good relationship between students and teachers “A good relationship between teachers and students can be mutually beneficial”.The students gain knowledge eagerly and enjoyable

22、 and the teacher gain satisfaction from his job. A bad relationship can discourage students from learning and make teaching become an unpleasant task. We should try our best to build a good teacher student relationship. 3.2.1 Loving your students Loving your students is a teachers duty and responsib

23、ility. If we want to get on well with students, we must love students first. The teen-agers psychology shows they like to be closed to their teacher, they want to make friends with teachers. If students love their teacher, they will study harder and make greater progress. As an teacher, we must try

24、our best to approach students, know more about students, and be a closed friend of students or love you students whole heartily. Love can build a good relationship .It will make students learn English happily. 3.2.2 Building up the relation on an equal basis An English teacher never forces his stude

25、nts to submit, even more punish students. He never looks down upon and laughs at the slow learner. Teachers should give them more patient, understanding and sympathetic. You must submit to the truth. They will be willing to accept your education and become your friends. They will learn English as mu

26、ch as possible. On the contrary, the student will hate this subject, even give it up .So we must build the equal relationship with students. A teacher can teach students, On the other hand,they can learn from students too. It is not only can improve teachers teaching, but also can arouse students in

27、terest of learning. A teacher must encourage students to surpasses their teacher. Let them think something by themselves. Let them believe their ability. Its good for them to learn English by themselves. 3.3 Organize an Attractive Lesson for Students The great part of English learning in primary sch

28、ool is having class,because students in young age are poor in learning by themselves. They rely on the teacher to leading them to the English world. As a result, it is teachers responsibility to give effective class. To organize an effective English class, teachers need to make some creation basing

29、on students English level, character, interest and understanding. 3.3.1 Design Wonderful Lessons Preparing work goes before effective class. Teachers have to prepare the lesson well is beyond doubt. A good preparation bases on both the teaching materials and the good understanding of the students. T

30、eachers should learn the teaching materials thoroughly and understand the students who are going to be given lesson well. Besides, a clear teaching procedure must be borne in mind. That means teachers need to be familiar with the clues and make sure that the class will be carried out step by step. A

31、 good lesson not only means the students grasp the knowledge well but learn it in an easy and vivid way. Then it asks for the teachers to create some effective methods to present the lesson and useful ways to consolidate it. This step should be finished before the lesson. It is an assurance for a vi

32、vid lesson which can arouse students interest. 3.2 Create English-learning Atmosphere English is a foreign language. Students have little chance to hear and say it out of class. As far as the English learning in primary school is concerned, most of the students rely on the teachers who lead them to the English world. Language learning can not go without atmosphere.
