5、istration of the Ministry of Education. It is among one of the first universities entitled to enroll Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degree candidates and authorized to set up post-doctoral programs and national bases for the researching and teaching in the fundamental disciplines.In 1953, Lanzhou Uni

6、versity was selected as the key comprehensive university by Chinas Ministry of Education, China. In 2001, Lanzhou University was listed as one of the top 38 national universities strongly supported by the state government. It is one of the top 100 universities in the “Facing the 21st Century Educati

7、onal Development Program” which are jointly sponsored by the state government and the local province.Now Lanzhou University offers 81 bachelor programs, 187 master programs, and 56 doctoral programs, and has 6 National Bases, 2 provincial/ministerial level bases for the training and researching of t

10、ogram in our university. 兰州大学20082009学年中国政府奖学金来华留学生本科生招生简章一、招生学科、专业凡我校具有学士学位授予权的学科专业，均可招收外国来华留学生接受本科学历教育。具体招生专业请见兰州大学20082009学年中国政府奖学金来华留学生本科生招生专业目录。(见附件1)二、全额政府奖学金的内容和标准1、免交注册费、学费、实验费、实习费和校内住宿费。2、提供生活费：本科生：RMB 800元/月3、新生来华后发给一次性安置补助费：RMB 600元/人4、提供部分门诊医疗费：学生在学校医院或学校指定的医院就医的日常门诊费用，按学校有关规定，学校承担一定比例的费

11、用，学生自行支付剩余部分。5、提供一次性城市间交通费。新生入学时由入境口岸至学校所在城市的一次性火车硬座（卧）车票。途中伙食费用及行李超重（行李标准为20公斤）费用自理。三、学习方式和学习年限1、学习方式为全日制；2、授课语言为汉语；3、学习年限一般为4年（如需汉语补习，学习年限为5-6年）。四、申请资格1、申请人须为非中国籍公民，持有效外国护照，身体健康，品行端正，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度；2、申请人必须具有高中毕业学历，成绩优秀，年龄不超过25周岁；3、申请文科类各专业者要求通过HSK 6级，申请理科类各专业者要求通过HSK 4级。五、提交申请材料申请人必须如实填写和提交以

12、下申请材料（均为一式两份）：1、兰州大学外国留学生申请表，用中文或英文按要求填写，并贴照片。（见附件2）2、中国政府奖学金申请表（请从网站3、经过公证的最高学历证明。如果是除中文或英文以外的其它语言文本，则需提交该文本的中文或英文译文，并且进行公证。4、申请人如果是在校学生或在职工作人员，需提交本人就读学校或工作单位出具的在学证明或在职证明。如果是除中文或英文以外的其它语言文本，则需提交该文本的中文或英文译文，并且进行公证。5、提供经公证的高中成绩单，如果是除中文或英文以外的其它语言文本，则需提交该文本的中文或英文译文，并且进行公证。6、来华学习或研究计划。不少于200字，用中文或英文书写。7

13、、申请学习音乐专业的学生须提交本人作品的光盘；申请学习美术专业的学生，须提供本人作品光盘（2张素描画，2张色彩画，2张其它作品）。8、年龄不满18周岁的申请人，须提交在华法定监护人的相关法律文件。9、提交外国人体格检查记录（请从网站10、八张护照尺寸照片。请将以上申请材料电子版发送至 yuanmei;houzx ；并将纸质材料以特快专递方式邮寄至我校。所有邮寄材料恕不退还。六、申请时间Undergraduate ProgramDisciplines and majors International students who are interested in studying in Lanzh

14、ou University can apply for any undergraduate program which our university is entitled to provide. For more details, see the attached file #1.Details of the Scholarship1. Qualifying student is exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, fee for laboratory experiment, fee for internship, fee for basic

15、 learning materials and intramural accommodation.2. Monthly living allowance is paid to the students from the date of registration at the following rates (CNY yuan per month):- Undergraduates: CNY 800 yuan3. A one-off settlement subsidy after registration- CNY 600 yuan4. Student will be exempt from

16、part of the fee for outpatient medical services generated in the Lanzhou University hospital or the hospitals appointed by Lanzhou University. International students will be expected to pay a certain percentage of those expenses in accordance with Lanzhou Universitys relevant regulations.5. A one-of

17、f, round trip inter-city travel ticket (for coming-in and leaving China). International students should choose the nearest port to Lanzhou for inter-city travel and a hard-seat train ticket (hard-berth train ticket for overnight trip) will be provided to freshmen transferring from the port of entry

18、to Lanzhou. Other expenses for food during the trip or excess baggage (max: 20 kg) are the students own responsibilityDetails of studies1. We only offer full-time programs for applicants.2. For undergraduates, the duration of major studies is 4 years, and the duration can be extended to 6 years if r

19、emedial Chinese language studies are needed.3. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education of China, all Chinese scholarship undergraduate students will be conducted in Chinese. Applicants with no command of Chinese are generally required to take Chinese language courses for 1-2 years

20、before their major studies.Eligibility1. Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals in good health. Applicants must hold valid passports and will observe all the laws of China as well as the rules and regulations of Lanzhou University.2. Applicants must have completed senior high school with good grad

21、e and be under the age of 25.3. Applicants for studying as undergraduates in natural science majors should have a valid HSK band-4 certificate, while applicants for studying as undergraduates in humanity and social science majors should have a valid HSK band-6 certificate.Application materialsThe ap

23、cation Form for Chinese Government Scholarship(download from one original and one photocopy, in Chinese or in English. 3 Highest diploma (notarized photocopy). Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.4 Proof of student status or c

24、urrent employers introductory letter if applicants are university students or currently employed. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.5 Notarized copy of senior high school transcripts. Documents in languages other than Chines

25、e or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.6 A study or research plan in Chinese or in English (no less than 200 words for undergraduates).7 Applicants for music are requested to submit one cassette recording of the applicants own work. Applicants for fine arts must submit

26、 six color photographs of their personal work (two sketches, two color paintings and two other works).8 Applicants under the age of 18 should submit the legal documents of their legal guardians in China.9 Foreigners Physical Examination Form(download from original and one photocopy. The medical exam

27、inations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigners Physical Examination Form.
