1、初中英语八下5单元Fullmoonfullfellings教学设计学情分析教材分析课后反思Unit 5 Full Moon, Full Feelings ! 教学设计思路(1)备课思维过程 本课是一节阅读课,英语阅读作为语言技能的重要组成部分,是语言输入的主要环节之一,在英语教学中占有重要地位。长期以来,我们对英语阅读教学的理解比较狭隘,往往重知识点的分析而轻语篇的整体理解,重阅读的结果而轻过程的指导,重文本信息的捕捉而轻文化背景的渗透,重教师的主导作用而轻学生的主体地位。事实上,英语教师在教授语言知识的同时,要充分利用文化渗透策略,帮助学生能得体、准确地交流,以文化的包容、尊重等品质去赢得自

2、信和平等。根据义务教育英语课程标准的要求,英语阅读教学不仅要完成传统阅读教学中的传授语言知识、发展学生语言能力的任务,而且要深化文章的内涵和拓展文章的外延,把文章的空间范围拓展到社会、生活中相关的人和事,教会学生认识社会,培养学生自信、自强、自立的品格,发展和完善学生的个性,并培养学生的综合语言运用能力。 本节课旨在基于阅读教学培养学生的综合语言运用能力,帮助学生形成开放、包容的品格,发展其文化交流的意识与能力,促进其思维发展。备课团队在设计本课时经历了三个阶段: 第一阶段以中西方节日文化为主线,引导学生认知节日的内涵和意义,并通过教师指向性的问题引导学生自主讨论,从而逐步聚焦到中秋节这一节日

3、。文本的解读充分考虑了阅读材料故事性较强的特点,首先以人物角色和人物动作为经络,以故事的发生过程为序,以思维导图为纲,以开放性问题为创新点引导学生自主阅读,享受阅读的成就感,并引发学生思考家人和朋友的重要意义;教师在各个环节逐步对学生进行阅读情况的形成性评价。但这一设计仍然拘泥于阅读教学的程式,而且读前环节不能使学生做好语言和话题上的充分准备;读后环节开放性问题的设置不能激发学生欣赏文本优美内容的兴趣,也难以有效地开发他们的想象力。 第二阶段进行了重大的修改,以故事起源、节日习俗、节日精神三个板块来设计本课。三个板块既相对独立又互相关联,形成三个完整的、独立的微阅读内容:故事起源的着重点是文章

4、的第二段,以完整的阅读过程来引导学生理解故事大意,掌握故事内容,并能讲述故事;节日习俗的着重点是在文章第一段和第三段,让学生结合自己的中秋节记忆来了解中秋节文化习俗;节日精神着重引导学生读懂文章字里行间的意义,理解中秋节文化背后的深刻内涵。这一设计比较新颖,能抓住学生的眼球,但阅读的内容因为要适应形式而被迫割裂,同时对节日精神的理解依然未摆脱文本内容的束缚,无法让学生真正理解“月满、情浓”背后的残缺之美。 第三阶段结合前两个阶段的设计,既考虑了阅读内容的整体性和立体性,也充分利用文本深刻解读了节日精神,并考虑了在阅读教学中以学生为主体的合作探究式学习能力的培养。这一设计以full为主线,从fu

5、ll object 到full story再到full feelings,对教学内容加工提炼,让教学内容中蕴含的隐性情感因素得以尽可能的发掘,从而使学生获得相应的情感体验。整节课在解读文本信息的过程中自始至终体现圆满和团圆的精神,并利用民间神话故事的特点让学生提炼出超越文本内容的审美,即残缺和分离衬托出的中国式的心灵圆满之美,这不仅是对英语语言美的升华,更是对文学作品人文性、跨文化交流性的良好诠释。(2)教材内容调整 本次授课的教学内容选自8年级第5单元。学生已经贮备了一定的词汇量,且文本内容是学生比较熟悉的神话传说故事。我决定针对生词和文本进行如下调整: 生词缩量处理。根据教学要求和词汇表的

6、要求,这一部分的新词汇达到了11个。但是其中的部分新词汇不属于难词,而且学生在之前的学习中已经有所接触,因此最后的词汇教学仅呈现出6个新词汇,且其中的3个词汇学生可以通过阅读猜测出来。 文本缩量处理。学生已经非常熟悉该故事,但是接触用英语呈现的该故事的机会不多,所以我们缩量文本,仅以故事本身为主要阅读内容,而将节日的习俗等作为学生自主学习的内容。同时,本课没有使用教材中提供的两个读后练习事件排序及词汇填空。为了让学生更多地体验语言的表意功能,调整后使用思维导图鼓励学生讲述故事和表演故事,使学生能充分理解故事内容,并能恰当运用所学语言。(3)课堂教学活动 在预设了教学目标,厘清了教学主线,并对教

7、材内容作出适当调整之后,可以看出本课的教学重难点是如何引导学生体验真、善、美,以及感知英语文学语言之美。基于此,备课团队和授课教师着重关注在课堂教学活动中发展学生的小组合作探究式学习能力,重点培养学生的阅读学习策略,并在听、说、读、写的过程中发展学生的综合语言运用能力,同时结合学生的学习背景和学习水平拓展他们的思维能力。因此,本课的主要教学活动设计如下表:Pre-readingGreeting课堂开始的师生问候,帮助学生做好情感的准备。Lead-in以圆形物体引入并过渡到圆月及中秋节,帮助学生做好话题的准备。Free talk以中秋节习俗为谈论话题,引入新词汇,帮助学生做好语言的准备。Whil

8、e-readingScanning快速寻读故事中的人物角色,对故事梗概有大致了解。Careful reading细读故事,理解故事中的细节信息。Mind-mapping以人物关系图为基础,寻找关键词,建构故事的脉络。Post-readingRole-play人物角色配音秀,检测学生对故事的理解程度和学生的语言能力。Writing续写故事结尾,拓展学生的想象力。Experience the beauty of literature发现生活中的真、善、美,诠释文化内涵。 从上表所示的课堂教学活动内容可以看出,读后环节所占比重较大,一共设置了三个活动来检测学生对文本知识的理解和发展学生的批判性思维能

9、力。读后阶段的活动既要关注文本知识,又要关注思维训练。活动设计要符合学生的认知特点和知识水平,要有助于发展学生的综合语言运用能力,尽可能地促进学生发现、思考和解决问题。首先是角色扮演,在尊重故事原有内容的基础上,学生可发挥自己的想象力,重新创作故事。其次是读后续写,它具有其他许多外语学习任务不具备的优点,模仿与创造相结合,学习与运用相结合,经常使用能够提高外语学习效率。在续写部分学生会大量模仿文本中的语言,通过续写将故事变得“圆满”。这是一个非常重要的强化学生语言学习动机的环节,同时可以促进学生对文本的挖掘,使学生对“圆满”的理解得到升华,有助于拓展学生的想象空间。 教师预设会出现两种续写结果

10、:一是实际的圆满,后羿和嫦娥团圆了,这应该是学生具有浪漫主义情怀的最佳表现;二是情感的圆满,后羿和嫦娥依然分别,但他们之间的思念和关怀是“千里共婵娟”的最好诠释。续写之后教师让学生从文本进入生活,以模仿标题的方式创作短语,并引导他们解读所创作的短语,如“a class with you, full feelings”“a dinner for my mom, full feelings”。最后是总结对文本的体验,加深学生对full feelings的理解。具体的教学设计如下:Students:Grade8,juniorLesson type:reading and writingDuratio
