20、to it several times to familiarize themselves with the story and the target language. Dont just play the recording several times and ask the students to listen to it passively. Always look for ways to provide the students with a reason for listening. For example, in the activity above, the students

21、have to listen for target words in the recording. They may miss need to listen to the recording again to find the words. By using this activity, it is less boring for them to have to listen to the recording w or 3 times.After the listening activity, ask the students to pen their books and read the d

22、ialogue aloud.Then, ask them to underline all the examples of There is and There are .2. Listen and say.In these types of activities, the students have to listen to the tape and then repeat the sentences.They are given pictures to give context and meaning to the sentences.Play the tape and then paus
