2、pter 8: Annas Teddy BearGeneral Tips From the main menu you can change players, play the game, see the help screen and adjust some options. In the options menu, you can adjust the music volume, effects volume, voice volume, set widescreen mode, set fullscreen mode, or watch the credits. The arrow cu

3、rsor is your normal cursor. It does not change when you are over items that you can pick up. Beside your arrow cursor will appear brown arrows pointing in different directions (1). These tell you that you can go to a different area. The next cursor is the magnifying glass (2). It tells you that you

4、can look closer at that spot. Hidden Object Scenes also show a magnifying glass cursor, but they also have sparkles (3). A sing sparkle will also tell you that there is something there that you can look at. Every spot that you can look closer at will either have many sparkles or a single sparkle, bu

5、t some of the objects are not marked like this. Your inventory is at the bottom of the screen (4). Things that you collect in the world will go here. Finishing a Hidden Object Scene will also give you an object in your inventory. When you get stuck and need another item, go back to previous Hidden O

6、bject Scenes to get a new item. Many of the puzzles in the game will only be possible after you find all of the pieces. The Hidden Object Scenes are not randomized.Chapter 1: Outside the Lodge Click on the arrow to enter the next scene. In the next scene there will be a sparkle on the right side of

7、the screen by the doll. Click the doll to inspect it further (A). Click on the KEY to collect it and will enter you inventory. Click the up arrow to go to the next scene (B). Once in the next scene click on the mailbox (C). There will be a sparkle beside it. Use the KEY from your inventory on the lo

8、ck to the right of the mailbox (D). Collect the letter to read it. Click the forward arrow to move closer to the house (E). Click on the sparkles to go to the next Hidden Object Scene (F). There is a ladder to the middle of the screen (G) and a path blocked by weeds to the right (H). Find all of the

9、 hidden objects in the scene and receive the HOOK in your inventory. Back out of the current scene and click on the arrow to the right of the mailbox. In the next scene click on the turned over chair to enter the next Hidden Object Scene. Find all of the hidden objects in the scene and receive the M

10、ACHETE in your inventory. Go back to the house and enter the area covered in weeds (H). Use the MACHETE on the weeds. Enter the porch and click on the sparkles in the middle of the screen. Find all of the hidden objects in the scene and receive the HAMMER in your inventory. When you return to the sc

11、ene with the ladder by clicking at the bottom of the screen twice, the phone will be ringing. Click on the phone to start a mini-game. In this mini-game you need to find the right order of numbers that matches the blacked out note to the right. Dial the numbers by clicking on the number and dragging

12、 it to the right. Two of the numbers are given to you. For each missing numbers start from 1 and move up 1 number ever time you try. Numbers that you get right will be marked at the bottom with a green light. Numbers that you get wrong will be marked with a red light. The correct combination is: 2,

13、1, 4, 9, 3. When you enter the correct numbers a compartment will open up and you will receive some NAILS. Exit the phone scene and zoom in on the ladder again. Use the NAILS and then the HAMMER to fix the ladder. You will be taken back to the main scene. Click at the top of the ladder to check out

14、the hole. You will need to remove the boards to enter the house. Return through the weeds to the Hidden Object Scene on the porch. Find all of the hidden objects to receive a CROWBAR. Return to the main scene and go to the right again. Finish the Hidden Object Scene by the chair again to receive a R

15、OPE. Climb the ladder and use the CROWBAR on the boards covering the hole in the ceiling (I). Then use the HOOK on the space near the opening (J). Then use the ROPE on the HOOK to climb up inside the building (K).Chapter 2: Lodge, 2nd Floor There is a fence in the middle of the room (A). You need tw

16、o cylinders to start that puzzle. To the right is a ladder to the attic (B). To the left is a hallway to some bedrooms (C). Click to the left to go to the next scene. Once in the next scene go to the bedroom to the right and click on the book in the middle of the bed (D). There is a KEY that you can

17、 collect there. Click on the sparkles to start the next Hidden Object Scene (E). Find all of the hidden objects in the scene and receive the OIL in your inventory. Exit the right bedroom and return to the hallway. Use the KEY on the door to the left to enter the left bedroom. In the left bedroom the

18、re is a puzzle in the middle of the bed that is missing 2 tiles (F). There is a shelf full of dolls to the right that has a Hidden Object Scene (G). Click on the shelf. Find all of the hidden objects in the scene and receive the LIGHTBULB in your inventory. Return to the first room and go up the lad

19、der (H) to the attic. Once in the attic use the LIGHT BULB from your inventory on the empty light socket (I). You will then be able to see sparkles and another Hidden Object Scene. Click on the junk in the boxes (J). Find all of the hidden objects in the scene and receive a STEEL RING in your invent

20、ory. You can put this ring in the puzzle by the gate (A), but you will need another to start the mini-game. Go the first bedroom again and enter the Hidden Object Scene. Find all of the hidden objects in the scene and receive a MAGNET in your inventory. Return to the hallway and click on the fish bo

21、wl to inspect it closer (K). Use the MAGNET on the item near the fish to get it out of the bowl. You will receive a PUZZLE PIECE. Enter the room to the left and enter the Hidden Object Scene to the right again. Find all of the hidden objects in the scene and receive another PUZZLE PIECE in your inve

22、ntory. Use the 2 PUZZLE PIECES with the box on top of the bed to start the next mini-game. This is a simple slider puzzle. The pieces of the puzzle can only move up and down. When you click on a piece it will trade places with the puzzle piece below it. Work from the top to the bottom. Match the pie

23、ces on the top first and then match the piece below that and so on. See the screenshot for the correct solution. Once you complete the puzzle, you will receive another STEEL RING. Return to the gate and replace the STEEL RING into the lock at the left side. Use the OIL CAN on the rings. This will st

24、art another mini-game. Match the pictures on the rings to complete the puzzle. The top ring and the bottom ring do not move. Use these pieces as the base for your other rotations. Click on a ring and drag it to the left or the right to set its position. The puzzle will not complete until you let the

25、 pieces go in the correct position. Starting from the top is the easiest. The very bottom piece has a couple positions that look correct but only one that matches with the piece above it. The lock will lift up a little more each correct ring you stop. See the screenshot for the correct solution.Chap

26、ter 3: Lodge, 1st Floor After climbing down the stairs to the first floor you will be in a new room with two doors in front of you. The door in the middle that is slightly open goes to the kitchen (A). A door with a lock is to the right (B). You may also travel to the left where the room continues (

27、C). Go to the left and then continue through the door to the left in the next scene. When you have entered the next bedroom, click on the Hidden Object Scene to the left of the suit of armor. Find all of the hidden objects in the scene and receive a SCREWDRIVER in your inventory. Travel back to the

28、first room and enter the kitchen (A). Enter the Hidden Object Scene in this room near the sink. Find all of the hidden objects in the scene and receive a CABINET KNOB in your inventory. Use the KNOB on the cabinet below the sink and retrieve the FEATHER DUSTER (D). Return to the first room and use t

29、he FEATHER DUSTER on the door with lock (B). Next use the SCREWDRIVER on the cleaned off lock. This will start a new mini-game. The object of this mini-game is to uncover the small square in the middle. You can move the silver pieces around by clicking them and dragging them. The pieces can move in

30、any direction, as long as there isnt another piece in the way. Sometimes if a piece wont move past another try moving the stationary piece again. It could be not lined up correctly. The two small pieces on the very left side of the puzzle are the most important to finish it correctly. To solve the p

31、uzzle first drag the long upright piece towards the left and the two small pieces to the bottom until they are level with each other at the very bottom (E). Next drag all of the top pieces that can move to the left side, leaving the smallest pieces on the right so that they stack together (F). Lastly, drag the upright piece in the middle to the left and the other pieces blocking the middle to the right and up (G). See the screenshot for the completed puzzle.
