This essay mainly studies the linguistic features of English News on stylistics. The study is consist of mainly three aspects of News En

5、glish. They are lexical features, sentence features and grammar features of News English. According to the study, people can find that News English, as a distinctive and new language, has its own linguistic features in words, sentences and grammar. For example: English news often use metaphor, meton

IntroductionWith the fast development of globalization, English has become the language which is used

There are vivid and graphic oral words, midget words, abbreviated words, borrowed words, loanwords, euphemisms and many other new words. Here are the

They are busy with their works and always have very short time to read the News. So News English should be easy to understand and close to common people.Bruise told
