According to the survey, 8 out of every 10 Americans plan to put up a Christmas tree this year, compared to 92 percent who said they typically put up a Christmas tree when they were c

While 81 percent of those surveyed said their families typically sent holiday cards during their childhood, only 65 percent said they planned to do so this year.
