To train the students four skills-listening, speaking, reading and writing2. To train the students abilities of using target langua

3、ges to communicate and use them in writing.3. To train the students to know the person according to the description of ones appearance.Oral aims:1.Never judge people by their appearance2. Let the students understand others in their communication and knowhow to appreciate others.3. Cultivate the stud

4、ents abilities of co-operation with others.Cultural awareness: The differences of talking about appearance in eastern and western countries. .Teaching steps:Step 1 Review the drills.(show the students a picture of a students new look.)T:Look at the picture,what does he look like?S:She has hair.She i

5、s medium height and she is medium build.(Ask two more students to describe it)T:This is one of our studentsnew look.Who is it? Can you guess?S:Is it?(If the students cant guess right,the teacher can tell them the answer.)(Give the students different new looks。)T:Now work in groups of four,describe t

6、he new looks,then gudss who they are.(the students work together.the the teacher asks some of them to practice.if they cant guess who they are,the teacher can tell them that the names of the new looks are on the back of the pictures.)Step 2 Activity 2a and 2cThis activity provides guided listening a
