3、le from your laptop to the serial port on the controller. Do not connect any other cables to the controller yet. Configure your terminal software for 9600 baud, 8-N-1, no flow control13 Power the controller on, and wait for the Logon prompt. Log in with username: admin password: admin and issue the

Important: Until now, the steps in the lab showed you how to configure the controller using the CLI via the serial connection from your PC to the controller. You will now use the Web-based UI to complete
18、the remaining steps in this lab.To use the Web UI you will need to do the following:17 Connect your management station (laptop) to the controller via an Ethernet connection18 Log in to the Web UILog in to the Web UIOpen a Web browser and enter the following URL:http:/10.1.1X.2/or use the following U
19、RL for HTTPS access to the WEB UI:https:/10.1.1X.2:4343/Log in as the admin account using the password you created during setup.Step 5Configure loopback IP addressUsing the Web UI, we will configure the loopback address and place it in the management VLAN address space. The loopback address is the r
20、eference management address for the controller and is used to identify the management VLAN.Here is the procedure to configure the loopback address:19 On the top-level menu bar, click Configuration -Network - Controller - system settings20 Under System Settings:21 In the Loopback Interface box, enter

23、t of the basic controller configuration, you need to install licenses. Your instructor will provide you with a text file containing the license keys. License keys are tied to a specific serial number. To get your serial number, look on the back of your controller, use the show inventory command in t
24、he CLI, or visit the Licensing page in the WebUI as shown below. In a production network you would have to activate the license certificates you received with the controller as shown in the Introduction video. Follow the notes below to install the license keys on your controller.27 Using the Web UI,
25、 log back into the controller28 On the top-level menu bar, click Configuration - Network- Controller-LicensesNote your serial number in the center of the screen.29 On the bottom of your screen you may add your licenses. Add each of the 4 licenses provided on the USB Memory stick30 From the Maintenan
26、ce menu, reboot your controller (you do not need to save the configuration).Step 7Configuring the User VlanOur next task is to configure a User Vlan which is the VLAN into which wireless users will be placed. The VLAN ID for this VLAN is 10X (e.g. for Table 9 this would be VLAN 109).31 On the top-le
