30、ed by factors such as pregnancy and so on, Xu said.But using the new method, about 85 percent of cancer patients can be diagnosed andonly about 7 percent of patients are misdiagnosed, he said. The new method is moreaccurate and much simpler and does not require other tests, Xu said. The center hasdeveloped tests for liver cancer based on the research, and they will be used on people witha high risk of the disease at Sun Yat-sen Universitys Cancer Hospital, he said. And thetests are expected to be widely available for clinical use by the end of the year, he said.
