17、rdianofChinesecivilization,ofthecivilizationstate.ThisisascloseasChinagetstoakindofspiritualrole.Andthesecondreasonisbecause,whereasinEuropeandNorthAmerica,thestatespoweriscontinuouslychallenged-ImeanintheEuropeantradition,historicallyagainstthechurch,againstothersectorsofthearistocracy,againstmerch
