And language has become the bridge for smooth communication between Chinese and foreigners. And having a good capacity for listening is the first step

Basing on the forefathers study on how to improve the capacity for listening, under the angle of teaching strategies, and combining with Krasen input hypothesis, the thesis researches how to improve the capacity for listening of the senior middle school students.

8、交往变得越来越频繁。语言则成为了国内与国外间顺利沟通的一座桥梁。而具备较好的听力能力则是互相间顺畅交流的第一步。文章在前人对如何提高高中英语听力水平的研究基础上从教学策略的角度,结合克拉申的输入理论,探讨了如何通过改进教学策略来提高高中英语听力水平,并用这一研究结果为贺州地区高中英语听力的实际教学活动提供参考。文章通过对影响富川民族中学学生英语听力学习的实际教学情况进行了分析,并概括出影响贺州地区高中生英语听力提高的主要因素。针对以上研究,结合克拉申的输入理论提出一些适合贺州地区高中英语听力教学策略的建议。为贺州地区高中英语老师提供一些英语听力教学策略的参考。关键词:高中英语听力,教学策略,输

9、入理论Contents1. IntroductionListening is one of the most practical forms to input the information in the daily life. So the importance of English listening can not be doubted. Although listening plays such a very important role in peoples communicative activities, the teaching of listening comprehensi

10、on remains a somewhat neglected and poorly taught aspect of English in senior middle schools in China at present. Teachers pay most of their attention to improve the scores but not the students ability training. With the conduction of college entrance examination, most senior middle schools take how

11、 to improve the students scores to past the examination as the goal of education. In the whole paper of the examination with150 points, English listening only possesses 20%. And the ability of English listening cant be improved in one day or two, but a matter of accumulation. Naturally the training

12、of English listening ability can not be pushed in an important position. However, the input and output ability of English is the main purpose of English leaning.This present state is certainly unsatisfying. Listening teaching has been the weakness in the English teaching. For one thing, so many teac

13、hers do not have effective methods of teaching. Most of times they just play tapes, then check the answers directly. In this way, not only are the listening materials wasted, but also the main idea of the whole unit cannot be shown to the students ahead of time through listening. For another, studen

14、ts, who may get bored of the unproductive listening teaching methods, lose interest in listening step by step. At last, Students listening ability cannot be improved.So it can be clearly figured out that how teachers can improve the listening teaching methods is worth studying. It is necessary for t
