4、ation3.1 Article MaintenanceThe master data is the foundation for mapping processes in the ERP System. All the basic information regarding customers, sites, vendors, articles, and so on is contained in the master data.In the article master data, you can map both single and structured articles （prepa

5、cks, sets, generic articles with variants, displays, and so on）. When you enter （additional） information, such as the article type, merchandise category, vendor, or reference article, you are specifying important control information and default values that will be available when you create the artic

6、le.3.1.1 Configuring a Specific Article MasterIn Customizing for the Article Master, you can configure the dialog for maintaining article master records to suit your companys specific requirements. In the following section an example is shown how to create a new screen sequence, add a screen for the

7、 basic data view and assign it to various article typesThe sub screen 2021 Assignment to Article Hierarchy that was developed especially for the article type MODE will be added to a new screen sequence. The new screen sequence will be assigned to the article types HAWA, VOLL, FRIP.3.1.1.1 Determinin

8、g the Number of the Sub Screen to be AddedUseIf you want to configure a specific article master, for example, add specific screens or sub screens, you have to know the sub screens number and the program for the screen for the screen data. Navigate to the Basic Data screen. 3. Position the cursor into the field in the respective sub screen. 4.

10、Call up the F1 Help function for a field. 5. Push Button Technical information to navigate to the technical help. 6. Note down the program name and screen number.3.1.1.2 Customizing the Article MasterThe customizing comprises two steps within the configuration of the material master. You first have

11、to define a new screen sequence to replace the old screen sequence afterwards （“define structure of data screens”）, in the article master data record.1. 12、opying the Standard Sequence to the Customer Name Space and Change it In the configuration, you can configure the screen sequences, the screens themselves, and the sub screens. To configure your own screen sequence, you will copy the default sequence and adjust this newly created one according to yo
