1、语法部分以比较事物为主,用一个连续的语境,通过故事的发展让学生更多地了解英国、美国和中国的学校、兴趣小组和课余生活。综合技能部分通过比较中英美三国学校的学生和老师的情况复习学生已学的语法内容,同时训练学生的听力能力,让学生讨论他们的小学学校和学校生活情况,训练他们的口语水平。语音部分旨在培养学生的语音语调的意识,让他们知道不同的语调模式可以表达不同的意思,让他们在今后的说英语的过程中正确运用语音语调。中心部分先通过调查问卷了解学生个人关于学校的喜好,为后面的写作做好准备。用前面具体细节方面的问题来写自己的理想学校,培养他们的英语思维能力和写作水平。检测部分复习了语法知识和相关的单词。学生学完本
2、单元后,将了解不同国家的中学生的学校生活情况,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,提高他们的英语水平。总体目标:让学生了解英国和美国学校生活,并和中国的学校生活相比较,让学生了解不同国家中等学校不同的教育的体系和教育体制。同时通过对英美国家中学生的学校生活的了解,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,并通过本单元的学习,掌握了一些有关学科的名称和对其描述的形容词,复习和巩固了形容词原级、比较级和最高级的用法。通过本单元的整体学习,使学生在听说读写各个方面的能力得以提高。教学的重难点:重点:1. 学习有关学校科目的名称和有关学校学习生活的词组。 2. 了解英国和美国中学生的学校生活。 3. 识别并运用适当的语调模式。 4
3、. 了解一些英式英语和美式英语的单词及其读音。难点:1 运用more/fewer/less.than 比较数量。2 运用the most/fewest/least比较事物。3 运用tha same as和 be different from做比较。4 have a great time doing sth.教学分析和教学建议:对于中学的学校生活,学生是熟悉并感兴趣的,尤其是了解国外中学生的学校生活并和他们自己的学校生活相比较,更是他们津津乐道的事。在中国,八年级的学生所学的学科基本全了,因此在此基础上学用英语表达,学生比较容易接受。同时学习形容词原级、比较级和最高级的用法,对与他们来说也能理解
4、和接受。因而本单元的学习并不困难。教师在教学过程中可采用Role playing, Practicing, Cooperating, Scanning和Listening for specific information的学习策略,利用教学挂图,制作多媒体课件来开展个人表演、两人一组表演或更多的学生一起分角色表演。在教词汇时,教师可以在找一些学生学过的单词来比较英式英语和美式英语在单词拼写或读音上的区别。通过分角色扮演模仿对话或用关键词来复述课文可以培养学生的听力和口语水平,让学生在听录音或同学叙述时,学会获取主要的信息来帮助自己理解和记忆。在阅读过程中,让学生学会写关键词语,复述短文,模仿编
