3、2IntroductionTwilight Saga is written by Stephen Meyer. The hero and heroine of the Twilight Saga are a vampire boy and a human girl. This is the story about a human girl called Bella and a vampire boy called Edward. This series are based on the love of Edward and Bella, meanwhile, integrating the v

4、ampire legend, the werewolf story, campus life, horror suspense, comedy, adventure and other eye-catching element, of course, touching love is “the most intense emotions” of the books. Earlier Vampires were understood and seen are s monster. As a negative role in Western culture, people had negative

5、 impression with vampires being bloodthirsty, cruel, ugly, frightening and soon. However, in twilight saga, writer describes of another group of special vampires to us which are kind and interesting. According to the books, vampires are no longer taken as cruel monsters. The twilight saga contains f

6、our parts: twilight, new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn. The Twilight Saga introduces Bella Swan, a seventeen-year-old who goes to live with her divorced father in the tiny town of Forks, Washington. Soon after arriving, Bella becomes drawn to Edward Cullen, a spectacularly attractive young man at

7、her school, and soon learns that he and his family are vampires, though ones that feed off of wild animal blood instead of humans. Their love soon blossoms and they spend nearly all of their free time together. During one such instance, with Edwards family present, a group of traveling vampires sens

8、es Bellas human presence and a tracker vampire named James makes it his mission to drain Bella of her blood. The Cullens take Bella to Phoenix to avoid James danger, but the tracker tricks Bella into coming to him. As James is set to murder her, Edward thwarts the evil vampires plans, killing James

9、in the process. The series continues with New Moon, which finds a newly-knowledgeable Bella eager to be transformed into a vampire. After an accidental paper cut triggers barely halted blood frenzy among the Cullens, they deem it best for Bellas safety that they permanently depart Forks. The loss of

10、 her true love sends Bella into a multi-month depression that is only ended, though not entirely, by a powerful friendship she develops with nearby Quileute Indian and family friend, Jacob Black. Soon, she discovers that Jacob and his reservation friends are secretly werewolves, the sworn enemy of t

11、he Vampires, and that the werewolves have been attempting to stop a string of murders by Victoria, James revenge-bent lover, who Bella believes, is after her. Meanwhile, when Bellas recreational cliff-diving accident is perceived by future-seeing Alice Cullen as suicide, Edward feels responsible for

12、 Bellas “death.” Guilt-stricken, Edward travels to Italy in order to publicly expose himself to humans in the vampire city Voltura, thereby guaranteeing his demise by the local world-revered coven, known as the Volturi. 13、ting his suicidal plan, though not before the Volturi force the Cullens to transform Bella into one of them as punishment for her illegal knowledge of vampire life. After a Cullen family vote approves of Bella joining their clan, Edward convinces her to wait until high school graduation and agrees t

14、o be the one to bite her if she will first marry him. In Eclipse, the series third installment, Victoria is still after Bella and tensions flare between the vampires and werewolves.
