SEU has established close cooperation and exchanges with over 30 foreign countries and more than 100 universities and ins

2、titutes.Now SEU has developmed into a comprehensive university with a strong engineering background, whose full-time students are over 28,000, among whom 10,000 are postgraduatesAmong all the 3,000 faculty, there are 1,300 full and associate professors, 11 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Scie

3、nces and the Academy of Engineering, SEU boasts 20 post-doctoral stations, 11 state-level key disciplines, 3 national key laboratories, 2 national research centers of engineeringtechnology, 6 key laboratories and 4 research centers of engineering of MOE.SEU offers 64 Bachelors programs, 210 Masters

4、programs and 112 Ph.D. programs in science, engineering, medicine, art, economics and management.SEU offers English-taught degree programs as follows: bachelors programof architecture, bachelors program of clinical medicine, and masters program of international business. If the number of qualified a

5、pplicants exceeds15, well open the program. We opened the English-taught bachelorof clinical medicine in 2006, the English-taught masters program of international business in 2008, and the English-taught bachelors program of architecture in 2009. The programs are tailored for international students

6、and the faculty involved are very knowledgeable and with the rich experience in teaching and academic research home and abroad. If the international students join our Chinese-taught programs, they will study all the courses together with our Chinese students. We will designate some excellent Chinese

7、 students to give them help in study, and the teachers will also offer them additional help if necessary.If the international students join the English-taught programs, they will find the programs specially designed to catering to their background and need. E.g. in the English-taught masters program

8、 of international business,the international student s are exposed to the developing China through visiting various enterprises in Jiangsu and neighboring region. These activitiesare arranged in their tour-study week.This year SEU has admitted 10 Ph. D students, 40 postgraduate students,100 undergra
