Corrosioninhibitors are added to many coolants to protect all types of metals. In bimetal engines,these additives eventually form aluminum salts, whi

24、ch can form a coating on the radiatortubes, reducing cooling efficiency and possibly leading to gasket failure. A thorough flushingis called for in this case.
