23、ansmission, the operating voltage increase rapidly. For instant, in the United States, in 1890 the first line was operated at 3.3kV. Voltage rose to 100kV at 1907, 150kV in 1913, 220kV in 1923, 244kV in 1926, and 287kV in 1936. In 1953 came the first 345kV line. The first 500kV line was operating in
