11、这个做英语翻译员的决心却是来之不易。首先，英语对英语专业的学生来说有时是个限制因素。英语只能作为一种交流工具，现在大多数的人都可以说一口流利的英语就算对英语语法知识不是很了解。而且，这些非英语专业的学生，譬如，计算机专业的学生，他们本身的计算机专业知识就是他们的一个特长。可以说他们同时掌握了两门专业知识。这对我们来说是个很大的挑战。在择业时，面对的竞争也较大。其次，英语专业面对的择业范围较为狭窄。一般，只能选择与英语专业有关的职业，而与英语专业相关的职业部外乎就是翻译、新闻英语之类等。总之，相对于许多专业来说，英语专业的择业翻译还是比较狭窄的。再次，我个人认为英语大学本科毕业后就已经拿到了专业

12、八级证书了已经达到了比较顶尖级的水平了，如果接着考研还是考英语专业的话，那么英语对于我来说不再是一种交流工具了，而转为研究对象，而我对自己研究英语这方面没有信心也没有兴趣。第四，对于跨专业考研，在选择所跨专业方面时也困难重重。由于英语专业大学四年都不学习数学，所以跨专业考研时选择的专业范围也被缩小了，不能选择需要考数学的专业。如果硬要选择必需要考数学的专业就必须从现在开始补习数学。第五，出国读研究生在选择专业方面也遇到了同样的问题。在选择国家方面，国家的消费水平是不是太高等问题也影响了选择。最终选择还是从事英语方面的工作主要是因为自己的专业是英语专业，而且将来考研的方向极大可能是以上的第二方面

13、。基于英语专业且在国外读研究生这一因素，决定选择在外企从事有关翻译的工作。这个职业目标的成功选择让我对职业目标的决策方法有了一定的认识。首先，在选择职业目标是首要考虑的问题是个人自身问题。要对自我优缺点等进行一个全面透彻的分析。自己专业的优缺点，专业面对的择业范围等方面都要有个全面而深刻的了解。其次，要考虑到职业本身的问题。自己的职业范围是不是跟专业对口，或者合适自己。即我们通常所说的人职匹配。不要对自己将要选择的职业期望过高，往往会导致职业决策的失误。在对自我进行分析方面，主要考虑的是自我性格，以性格确定自己是怎样的一类人群，从而确定比较适合自己的职业群。在上课过程中的各种性格等测试都证明我

14、是个外向的人，比较适合的工作是交流、沟通等方面的工作，于是确定了从事翻译工作。其次考虑的是我的技能。我目前拥有的技能、特长，我的工作需要我拥有而我不具备的技能。通过这一分析给自己定一个目标，把自己不具备的技能列举出来并且把提高方法一一列举出来，在日后的训练过程中着重提高这些方面的技能，从而能更好的胜任这个职业目标。再次，个人价值观问题 对自己价值观进行一个全面透彻的分析。并把自己典型的一天所作的事情一一详细的写下来。在择业过程中家庭的影响也是个重要因素。儿女总之父母的希望所在，所以在择业时也会考虑到父母的期望，我爸爸就希望我做个大学教授，他说这份工作比较稳定，比较适合女生。在择业初期，也确实想
