5、 marriage. The story not only caters to everyones inward yearning for success, but also emphasizes the inseparability of the process and the result. The reward of success will be much amplified if the path leading towards it is treacherous, and vice versa. If a person inherits his fathers millions a
6、nd leads an easy life, he is not a successful person even in material terms, because there are no difficulties involved in his achieving affluence. The term success, to be sure. will not sit still for easy definition. But as I understand it, the true meaning of success entails a bination of both the
7、 process and the satisfactory result of an endeavor. To clarify my view, let me give another analogy. If we changed the rules of football, greatly enlarged the goal and sent away David Seaman or any other goal keeper, so that another David, namely David Beckham, could score easily, then scoring woul
8、d not give him the thrill of plishment and the joy that it brings. If we further changed the rules by not allowing Arsenals defenders to defend, so that Beckham needed only to lift a finger, actually a toe, to score, then there would be no game at all, because the meaning of winning would have disap
9、peared. In accepting the challenge, in surmounting the difficulties and in enduring the hardship, success acquires its value. 14、g adults are allowed to stay on their family health insurance until they turn 26. for a young adult with autism spectrum disorder and their family, that means peace of mind. it means more flexibility, more options, and more opportunity to reach their full potential. ultimately, there is more support
15、 for americans with autism than ever before. this means more promise of new breakthroughs that will help us understand autism even better. but in order to continue meeting the needs of people with autism, the bating autism act must be fully reauthorized. we still have a long way to go. working colla

19、l loss. Nineteen years ago almost to the day we lost three astronauts in a terrible accident on the ground. But weve never lost an astronaut in flight. Weve never had a tragedy like this. And perhaps weve forgotten the courage it took for the crew of the shuttle. But they the Challenger Seven were a
20、ware of the dangers but overcame them and did their jobs brilliantly. We mourn seven heroes: Michael Smith Dick Scobee Judith Resnik Ronald McNair Ellison Onizuka Gregory Jarvis and Christa McAuliffe. We mourn their loss as a nation together. For the families of the seven we cannot bear as you do th
21、e full impact of this tragedy. But we feel the loss and were thinking about you so very much. Your loved ones were daring and brave and they had that special grace that special spirit that says Give me a challenge and Ill meet it with joy. They had a hunger to explore the universe and discover its t
22、ruths. They wished to serve and they did. They served all of us. Weve grown used to wonders in this century. Its hard to dazzle us. But for twenty-five years the United States space program has been doing just that. Weve grown used to the idea of space and perhaps we forget that weve only just begun
23、. Were still pioneers. They the members of the Challenger crew were pioneers. And I want to say something to the schoolchildren of America who were watching the live coverage of the shuttles take-off. I know its hard to understand but sometimes painful things like this happen. Its all part of the pr
24、ocess of exploration and discovery. Its all part of taking a chance and expanding mans horizons. The future doesnt belong to the fainthearted; it belongs to the brave. The Challenger crew was pulling us into the future and well continue to follow them. Ive always had great faith in and respect for o
25、ur space program. And what happened today does nothing to diminish it. We dont hide our space program. We dont keep secrets and cover things up. We do it all up front and in public. Thats the way freedom is and we wouldnt change it for a minute. Well continue our quest in space. There will be more s
26、huttle flights and more shuttle crews and yes more volunteers more civilians more teachers in space. Nothing ends here; our hopes and our journeys continue. I want to add that I wish I could talk to every man and woman who works for NASA or who worked on this mission and tell them: Your dedication a
27、nd professionalism have moved and impressed us for decades. And we know of your anguish. We share it. Theres a coincidence today. On this day three hundred and ninety years ago the great explorer Sir Francis Drake died aboard ship off the coast of Panama. In his lifetime the great frontiers were the
