1.ThisPersonalInformationCollectionStatement（PICS）ismadeinaccordancewiththeguidelinesissuedbythePrivacyCommissionerforPersonalData.ThePICSsetsoutthepurposesforwhichyourPersonalDatawillbeusedfollowingcollection,whatyouareagreeingtowithrespecttotheSFC’suseofyourPersonalDataandyourrightsunderthePersonalData（Privacy）Ordinance,Cap.486（PDPO）.

2.ThePersonalDataprovidedinyoursubmissiontotheSFCinresponsetothisJointConsultationPapermaybeusedbytheSFCforoneormoreofthefollowingpurposes:

∙toadministertherelevantprovisionsandcodesandguidelinespublishedpursuanttothepowersvestedintheSFC;

∙inperformingtheSFC’sstatutoryfunctionsundertherelevantprovisions;

∙forresearchandstatisticalpurposes;

∙forotherpurposespermittedbylaw.

3.PersonalDatamaybedisclosedbytheSFCtomembersofthepublicinHongKongandelsewhere,aspartofthepublicconsultationonthisJointConsultationPaper.ThenamesofpersonswhosubmitcommentsonthisJointConsultationPapertogetherwiththewholeorpartoftheirsubmissionmaybedisclosedtomembersofthepublic.ThiswillbedonebypublishingthisinformationontheSFC’swebsiteandindocumentstobepublishedbytheSFCduringtheconsultationperiodoratitsconclusion.

1.YoursupplyofPersonalDatatoHKExisonavoluntarybasis.“PersonalData”inthesestatementshasthesamemeaningas“personaldata"inthePersonalData（Privacy）Ordinance,Cap486,whichmayincludeyourname,identitycardnumber,mailingaddress,telephonenumber,emailaddress,loginnameand/oryouropinion.
