Theresearcherstrackedthegroupsforafullyear.Comparedtothecontrolgroup,thethreeintervention(干预)groupsmadehealthychangesintheirdiet.Thosewhochangedtheirfitnesshabitsfirstsignificantlyincreasedtheamountofexercisetheyreceiveddailycomparedtotheothergroupsafterfourmonths.However,attheendoftheyear,thegroupthatchangedbothdietandexerciseatthesametimewastheonlyonethatmetthenationallyrecommendedtargetsforbothexerciseandnutritionlevels,whilethosewhoworkedonimprovingtheirnutritionfirstwereunabletomeettherecommendedlevelsoffitnessafterayear.Theresearcherssuspectthatchangestodietareeasiertomakethanchangestophysicalactivity.
