   AccordingtoareportfromtheWHO(WorldHealthOrganization)in2015,about415millionpeoplehavediabetesworldwide,whichmeans8.3%oftheadultsintheworldhavediabetes.Ofallthecases,85%to90%areType2Diabetes.Thatistosay,mostcasesofdiabetesresultfromtheunhealthylifestyle.Diabetesdoublesaperson'sriskofearlydeath.From2012to2015,about1.5to5milliondeathseachyearresultedfromthisdisease.Theglobaleconomiccostofdiabetesin2014wasaround612billionUSD.

   Ahealthylifestylecanhelppreventdiabetes.Doingalotofphysicalactivitiesandhavingahealthydietwillhelphavenormalbodyweight.Higherlevelsofphysicalactivity(morethan90minutesperday)canreducetheriskofdiabetesby28%.Healthydietincludesfoodsrichinwholegrainsandfiber,foodswithgoodfatsfromnuts,vegetableoilsandfish,littlesugar,andlessredmeat.
