六.语法解析:

本单元中我们主要学习直接引语如何变化成间接引语。

当我们引用别人的话时,我们可以用别人的原话,也可以用自己的话把意思转述出来,如果是引用原话,被引用的部分就称为直接引语(DirectSpeech),否则称为间接引语(IndirectSpeech)。

直接引语通常都用引号(“”)括起来,间接引语多数情况下都构成一个宾语从句。

如果引用的句子原来是个陈述句,在间接引语中我们就要注意下面几点:

根据意思改变人称:

例如:

Hesaid,“IgotothebeacheverySaturday.”

变成HesaidhewenttothebeacheverySaturday.

如果主句的谓语动词said或told为过去时,由直接变为间接引语时,从句的时态要有变化。

时态变化如下:

由于我们还没有学习完成时态,因此我们在这个单元只学A、B、C三种变化。

D种变化以后再掌握。

例如:

Shesaid,“IammadatMarcia.”

ShesaidshewasmadatMarcia.

例如:

Hesaid,“Iamdoingmyhomework.”

Hesaidhewasdoinghishomework.

例如:

Hetoldme,“Iwillcallyoutomorrow.”

Hetoldmehewouldcallmetomorrow.

“washaving”在这里是“过去进行时”表示

“过去将来”的动作。

相当于wasgoingtohaveaparty,这一点我们以前曾经学到过用现在进行时表示将来时。

例如:

这周我将看望我叔叔。

英语中有几个表示“带、拿”的动词。

(1)bring意思是“带来,拿来,取来”,指从别处把某人或某物带到或拿到说话者所在的地点来。

eg:

Nexttimeyoucome,bringmethatbookplease.

Mybooksareupstairs.Willyoubringthemdown?

(2)take意思是“带去,拿走”,和bring相反,指从说话者所在地把某人或某物带去或拿走。

eg:

We’lltakethestudentstothemiddleschool.

Whotookawaytoday’snewspaper?

Hetookmydictionarywithoutasking.

(3)get,fetch.表示到某处去把某人/物找到并带来。

eg:

Goandget(fetch)somewater.

Canyoufetchmesomepaper?

(4)carry意思是“携带”、“搬运”,即把某人带在身边或把某物带在身上,指随身携带,carry不说明带的方向。

eg:

Letmecarrythisbagforyou.

Idon’tcarryanymoney.

3.Itwasanexcitingworkforthepeopleonthesoapopera“YoungLives”。

对于那些看肥皂剧“YoungLives”的人来说,这是令人激动的一周。

(1)exciting是形容词,意为“令人兴奋的”,它是表示事物本身具有使人兴奋。

用于形容理智或感情方面影响他人的人或事物,有主动的含义,句子主语一般是物,在句中可以作表语或定语。

eg:

Ihavesomethingexcitingtotellyou.

Isawanexcitingmovielastnight.

Thebookissoexcitingthateveryonelikestoreadit.

(2)excited是过去分词作形容词,意为“兴奋的、激动的”,含有被动意味,前面常常是表示人的词作句子主语,用来表示人的感受,在句子中通常作表语。

Hewasveryexcitedafterhearingthenews.

Theywereexcitedtogettogether.

类似的词有

区分,watch,see,read,lookat

watch指目不转睛地盯着看,一般说watchTV,watchafootballgame.

see一般和film搭配。

read一般指看书,看报:

lookat一般加宾语Lookattheblackboard.
