二．让步状语从句

在由as,though,however,nomatterhow,what等引导的让步从句中，用倒装。

1、名词+as/though+主语+动词

Kingashewas,hewasunhappy.

Childasheis,heknowstohelpother.

2、形容词+as/though+主语+动词

Successfulasheis,heisnotproud.　　

Beautifulthoughthenecklacewas，wethoughtitwasover-priced.

3、副词+as/though+主语+动词

MuchasIlikeParis,Icouldn’tlivethere.

Hewasunabletomakemuchprogress，hardashetried.

4、动词原形+as/though+主语+动词

Objectasyoumay,I’llgo.

纵使你反对，我也要去。

Tryashemight，hecouldn’tsolvetheproblem.尽管他想方设法，却未解决这个问题。

5、分词+as/though+主语+动词

Raininghardasitis，I’mgoingoutforawalk.虽然正在下着大雨，我还是要出去散步。

Surroundedaswewerebytheenemy，wemanagedtomarchforward.虽然我们被敌人包围着，但我们还是设法前进了。

三．So,neither,nor等置于句首，表示不同主语的同样动作的肯定或否定时，用倒装。

Eg:

Idon’tknow,nordoIcare.

四．表否定意义的副词、连词及词组置于句首

Never,little,few,seldom,nowhere,nobody,notonly,under/innocircumstances，innocase,onnoaccount,atnotime（决不,无论如何不），notuntil,

nosooner…than…;

hardly（scarcely,barely）…when…

例：

1.Atnotimeshallwesurrender

五．Only位于句首

当only后接状语，或only引导的从句位于句首时，必须倒装。

Eg:

Onlybydiligenceandhonestycanonesucceed.

Onlywhenshecamehomedidhelearnthenews.

六．当so+aj./ad…..that….位于句首时，用倒装。

Eg:

Sotouchingwasherspeechthateveryonewasmovedtotears.

七．其它形式的倒装

1.当副词here,there,now,then,hence,thus,away,down,in,off,out,over,round,up等位于句首，且主语不是代词时须采用倒装。

Eg:

Nowcomesyourturn.

Herecomesthebus.

Herehecomes

Hereyouare.

Hereyougo.

2.分词和不定式置于句首的倒装

有时为了强调，可将谓语部分的现在分词、过去分词或不定式置于句首，从而构成倒装：

Buriedinthesandswasanancientvillage.

一个古老的村庄被埋在这沙土之中。

Standingbesidethetablewashiswife.

站在桌旁的是他的妻子。

3.状语或表语位于句首时的倒装

状语或表语置于句首，句中主语和谓语完全倒装：

AmongthesepeoplewashisfriendJim.

他的朋友吉姆就在这些人当中。

窗户边坐着一个年轻人，手里拿着一本杂志。
